A Nation waits…
I speak, of course, about my final credit card payment. The payment which was to be The Final Payment, became the Penultimate Payment when a last, spiteful interest charge was debited to my account.
Alas, it was but a few minutes after receiving the bad news that I scheduled the payment for the new, This Time I Really Mean It, Final Payment of $26.85.
Soon, the Evil Credit Card Beast will be slain, once and for all.
At least, that’s the theory.
