Ice, Ice Baby
On the one hand, I’ve got functional A/C in the car again, which is cool. (Oh look, a pun!)
On the other hand, my stress test score is 90.

I got a 415. I think they just give you a random number. I thought I would get a lower score, …er is higher better. It all seemed very un scientific.

I believe that answering “yes” to any question gets you between 30-60 points.
Higher is not better.
(On the third hand, my apartment is once again a sauna. I’m prepared to throw money at the problem if necessary.)

Just make your landlord buy you one! Threaten with better business attacks and petitions, that always makes ‘em jump. Save your money for an iPod.

The landlord is putting in a “new” one today or tomorrow. (I had to clear a path to the A/C, which is no small task.)
This will be my fourth A/C, they have all sucked. They just recharge a bunch of the bad ones each year and keep moving them around. That’s why I’m prepared to just buy my own and take it with me or sell it when I move.
With any luck this one will be good enough to last until I buy a house/townhouse/condo with central air. Not that I’m actively looking for a house, or anything.
