Holy Crap!
All the news channels on TV are reporting that Senator Paul Wellstone’s chartered plane went down near Eveleth, MN, killing everyone: Paul Wellstone, his wife Sheila, daughter Marcia, three staff members and the two pilots.

Later on CNN they reported that Richard Harris died in London. They had breaking news on the ticker during the breaking news about Wellstone.
I just realized that since today is two days after my birthday, it was a year ago today that my grandmother died. (I got the “Grandma’s getting worse” call on my B-day. Gee thanks.)
