Mostly Harmless

So I try and try to update the weblog without success. There’s some bad mojo with AT&T Broadband and/or the latest Java update. Since I have no problem posting from outside the AT&T network I’m going to point fingers at them, even through I’m pretty sure that Java is a bit flakey.

I also can’t ftp, or sftp, or scp, to this host directly. I can login without any problem, and I can “get” but not “put.” I can ftp back to my Mac from this server and “put” but not “get.” Very much looks like a firewall issue to me… my web host says they ain’t blocking AT&T, I’m still waiting to see what AT&T says.

My bogus Java theory will be tested right now when I hit “save.” Here goes, as they say in the biz, nuthin’. Okay, nuthing went.

Now living on a different network, clicking “save.” see, worked just fine
