Taste the WiFi
I’m sitting on my butt at Gate 43 at SFO. My flight got delayed 50 minutes so I coughed up the $9.99 for wireless net access and streamed my TiVo for about 45 minutes (ha! take that!).
Anywho, what I wanted to say, was that I just purged 309 comment spam attempts. I doubt there were any legitimate comments in there.
Really time to implement that Captcha…
I’ve got a handful of blurry photos from around Moscone Center. A couple of them look a little artsy so I might post ‘em. Got some pics from the Apple campus too. Didn’t bother with standing in line at the campus Apple Store for 3 hours so I don’t have a “mothership” T-shirt. No biggie. The WWDC shirt is nice though.
The band at the Apple Campus Bash was The Wallflowers.
Starting the pre-boarding… gotta go.

Time for Change
I piled up some loose change:
It turned out to be about 19 lbs worth of nickels, dimes, and pennies — quarters are separated out for laundry money, generally. The first batch, about seven pounds, added up to $42.12. The remainder, which I spiked with $15 in quarters, came to $91-ish. After subtracting the 5% fee from the TCF coin counting machine I ended up with about $126.
The TCF Express Coin machine I went to is in a Cub Foods grocery store. After I cashed in my $42 in change I went shopping and spent $43. My first sack o’ change turned into a couple of filet mignons and some other random food items. The second trip, with two sacks ‘o change, I didn’t buy anything. Huzzah! Take that!

Better Server U
Amusing (to me) typo on the USPS.com error page I got while attempting to submit a Hold Mail request:
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.
We can not currently complete your request on line. If you need to create this request immediately, please contact your local post office or call 1-800-ASK-USPS.
In order to help us better server you please contact us about your Redelivery Technical Matter or Hold Mail Technical Matter. Thank you for your patience.
So… it’s a server problem and they want to know how to better server me.
My response is: get a better server. That’s how you can better server me.
Thank you.
